Founded in 1996 by Denise Pumain, the bilingual journal Cybergeo is the first open access journal in social sciences. A high scientific standard is ensured by submitting articles to an international committee of readers.
The Journal is present in most of the international scientific databases such as DOAJ, Scopus, Scirus, Francis, Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, London School of Economics, Oaister etc. Cybergeo has been classed Rang A by the Agence d’Evaluation de la Recherche Scientifique (AERES).
