The international and multidisciplinary colloquium "The Black Metropolis, between past and future: race, urban planning and African-American culture in Chicago" is organised
by The University of Chicago in partnership with Université Paris Diderot, Université Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, the Fondation des États-Unis and Sciences Po Paris. This event will take place from 15-18 November 2017, Paris, France.
During the colloquium, Florence Nussbaum, PhD candidate at P.A.R.I.S. research team, will speak on the theme "Invisible Displacement: Abandoned Properties and Real Estate Speculation in the Black Metropolis".
